Coil Removal
Every woman with a coil needs it to be removed or replaced every 5-10 years depending on the type of coil fitted.
Implant Insertion
For the fitting or replacement of a Nexplanon Contraceptive Implant.
Implant Removal
Every woman with an Implant needs it to be removed every 3 years.

I had an IUD fitted with Dr Smith and whilst it was a little uncomfortable, it was a lot better than I'd been anticipating! She was excellent as was her assistant and I felt very reassured whilst having the procedure done.

We are located in Blackford area of Edinburgh, inside the BlackFord Clinic. If traveling by car, there is free on street parking nearby. Getting here by bus, you can take the 9, 24 or 38.
